The Auspicious day of Rath Yatra, Ashadh Sud 2, has more importance for the Gurukul Parivar as it is the birthday of Param Pujya Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami, the founder of Gurukul tradition.14 July 2018 was the 117th birth anniversary of Pujya Shastriji Maharaj, Gurukul Parivar celebrated this day with extra Bhajan, Dhoon & Mantra Lekhan at SGVP, Gurukul Ahmedabad and all branches.Secondly, with the inspiration of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and under the guidance of Pujya Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami, Gurukul Ahmedabad organizes the marvellous Rath Yatra. Beside the excellent education & cultivation at Gurukul, SGVP extends support to the needy students to complete their primary, secondary and higher education. With the inspiration of Sadguruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, every year Gurukul Parivar provides a big amount to needy students, especially female students and martyrs’ children without discrimination of any caste and creed. 42nd Gyansatra was organized at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Ahmedabad during Aug 15-21, 2018.  Guruvrya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami orated the Katha of satsangiJivan. Younger saints also delivered speeches on inspiring event of great devotees. Along with scholarship to girl students, Blood donation camp, flag hoisting many celebrations were carried out in devotional fervor.
